Project Details
Client: Delaware City Refinery
Date: February 28, 2017
To improve the air quality of the Refinery and surrounding community a 50,000 square foot warehouse was constructed to house petroleum coke which was previously stockpiled outdoors. Environmental regulations required the project, located within a water recharge protection area, to proportionally offset any new impervious surface with green space. V&L conducted a ground cover survey assessment of the plant and made recommendations to the Refinery for suitable locations for pervious offsets. V&L’s services included topographic surveys, civil site design, stormwater management design, regulatory permitting, and construction layout.
